I'm gettin pretty weak right now...

Hey! I don't know why but I got difficulties to keep up Electroniuc music nowadays. I have no idea why...
Maybe it's the new stock released that is kind of boring...I mean, producers are getting lazier, putting the same friggin loop for 5 minutes with only 1-2 synths that gets on it and blablabla.
Seriously, in 2-3 weeks, the only songs that I find "good" is all Naked Lunch new releases and this song.

Serisously, all the best stuff is going in the "Tech Trance" department.
Maybe it's my tastes changing (which would really suck), maybe it's me getting deseperate to see few people loving Techno in Quebec and incounsciously turning to something else, maybe january is the month where everyone sleeps and the new stuff really sucks.
Whatever, on another note, I'm almost done with my new EP. I'm working on the second song of this one and then I'll give news about it.

At least....there are Acid releases....

Lil' slice of life.

Yesterday I went to a trip with some friends to Montreal. At the beggining we were supposed to see modeselektor but we didn't and we went to Circus Afterhours to see a producer named Arnej. This name was familiar to me and I checked back my compilations and found this downtempo track he made.

Anyway, as I could read on many boards, it was his 3rd gig as a DJ and except from the mixing (which is the criteria that EVERY DJs whine on because no one else notices it) he was great! His track selection started with...Vocal Trance which I personnally dislike -_- But as the time pass, his tracks becomes better and better. Then he threw down one track that was awesome and I REALLY NEED THE NAME of : it was a perfect blend between minimal tech beats with trance leads at something like 135-136 bpm.

And then BAM! He goes into Tech Trance and when he played "Monkey Forest (Jonas Stenberg remix)"...there ya go, he got me!

And he finished with this one : They Always Come Back(made by himself)....even if it's prog house : YOU GOT TO LISTEN TO IT!

I mean woah! Trance has really evolved since I stopped listening to it when I was 14-15. Tech Trance is now REALLY interesting and this gives me the taste to look further in that direction and to integrate it in some sets I do...like you know : Start with slow tribal tech, move into tech trance then move into hard tribal tech and then hard tech.
I'm ashamed to say it but....I love Trance O_O

I've played Hypnotizing a lot a while ago and I'm still playing it in my "Experimental Tek" sets.
But they just made a new version of the song with.....VOCALS?!?
WUT?!?

Ok no seriously, I'm back from holidays now. Well...holidays...I'm working full time at my job while mixing eberywhere and produce stuff that I'll soon post in here.
So what did we miss?
